The Legal Process
Marriage Officiant
The very first thing to do in any wedding is to set a schedule of marriage ceremony at the church or with the judge. Both of them wanted a civil wedding so we first needed to secure our schedule with the officiating minister, the Judge. So me and the bride, Daisy, personally went to the Hall of Justice and sent the letter of request for marriage to one of the city's presiding judges. We paid the necessary fees and from there everything in the planning process rolled out.
The Venue
During my first meeting with Brett and Daisy, we visited some possible wedding venues they might like. When we went to The View in Brgy. Maa, and right then and there they knew it was the perfect venue for their wedding. They loved the view of the city overlooking on a hill. On the following month, we reserved the date of the wedding in the venue - The View, Maa, Davao City.

Marriage License Application
Next we processed more nitty gritty aspects of the wedding - the marriage license. The wedding planner is not allowed to process the marriage license. It is a legal document and the contracting parties are required by law to personally appear for their marriage license. Since the bride is originally from Tagum City and by law, one must be a resident of Davao city in order to apply for marriage license, we used the bride's relatives address citing Davao City as her current residence.
Before they filed for their marriage license, they already have secured the necessary documents required to be submitted to the local civil registry office.

When the 3 most important things - Officiant, Venue and Legal Documents - were settled, the rest of the planning sort of went along smoothly. With constant email and communication, we chose the caterer, florist, photographer, invitations, cakes, souvenirs, band, songs, dj and down to the littlest wedding detail.
Pre Nuptial / Engagement Photo Shoot
Of course, every wedding needs an engagement photoshoot. This is the only time that the bride and groom pose like professional models but only beaming with their love and affection for each other captured through the lenses of the photographer.

Here are some of the shots during their engagement photoshoot.
After the prenup shoot, Brett went back to Australia and Daisy followed a few days later. This left me a few weeks to iron out everything on my own before they both go back a few days before the Big Day! Thank goodness for internet connection, the planning transpired through our constant online communications.
THE GRAND WEDDING
April 15, 2017, Saturday. This was the big day for Brett and Daisy. Finally, all the months of planning, trying out, figuring out, and finalizing everything, the final day has come. There were a lot of hurdles on the last minute, but nothing too big to ruin a beautiful wedding day.
Dashing Groom and his Groomsmen
Here, Brett was looking bright and happy as he was being photographed on the preparations leading to his wedding ceremony later on the day.

Beautiful Bride and her Bridesmaids
Daisy has already a beauty-queen like face and figure but during her wedding day, she was blooming and radiant like never before.
Flowers and Wedding Venue
A wedding is not complete without the flowers that come with it.
Mr. & Mrs. Brett Andrews
After six months of emailing, planning, chatting, flying back and forth Philippines and Australia, Brett and Daisy has finally sealed the deal. They have become one in heart, mind and soul and marriage contract!
Seeing them so happy during their wedding day, makes me a hundredfold happier. I can say I worked so hard to help them create their dream wedding and must I say 'good job' to myself and my team of chosen wedding suppliers. During this wedding, I could recall that I have never prayed so hard to God to grant a beautiful weather on this day. And indeed, there is power in prayer! The day went smoothly without a hint of a cloud.

I have never felt so appreciated.(I was holding my tears because I was infront of the groom about to cry, ha! such an emotional day it was!) Sheesh!
