How to make her/him feel special

It's VALENTINE's DAY once more and I bet more couplings are going to spend this day of love celebration with some cute, cuddly red, pink, white colors and expressions of love. While it's 2013 already, with all the fast speed high technology ways of communicating feelings of love, NOTHING beats the TRADITIONAL wooing.

Here's a sure and tested ways (according to me) to make him/her uniquely special in this love month and all throughout the year:

For Men and Women:
1. Know your person-of-interest. DON'T STALK or follow her/him around. Ask her/his friends, observe, observe, observe every moment when you're together and figure out his likes and dislikes. If you've been together for quite sometime, you'd probably have some ideas. But if not, do this for at least two weeks. Take down notes but don't show him/her about it, of course.

2. With your observation, you will realize things he/she might need or some course of action he/she is not willingly telling but direly needing which shows in his/her actions. For example for men, he might utter his need for additional tools to fix something and it is in his to-buy list. For women, women don't know what they want until she sees it in the mall. Hint: go strolling together in the malls and observe where her eyes are stuck.

3. When thinking of dining out, think of making a surprise meal for her/him. And possibly, do it everyday and make it your couple's daily ritual. Me and my man enjoy eggs at breakfast everyday. It's like our moment together talking about the morning news, plans of the day, etc.. over fried or boiled or scrambled eggs, every day.

For Men:

1. What Women Want: SURPRISES! Women love surprises! You can never go wrong with a carefully planned surprise gift or gesture. Surprise her with flowers on ordinary days and not just on valentine's day. Surprise her in a wonderful way. Of course, that goes to show, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST.

For Women:

1. Think of something that you have not done to your man. Many years ago, I surprised my man with a bouquet of flowers at his workplace during our first year anniversary. Just imagine the reaction of the whole floor when I personally handed the flowers to him infront of his work mates. But don't do this stunt if your man is the introvert shy and private type of man. He'll get anxious with the gesture. But if you're man is up and game, surprises are a breeze. Good luck!

So there you have it boys and girls in the love arena. It all boils down to the most important step: KNOWING HIM/HER. From gathering observation about him/her, you will know how to make her/him special.

Teddy bears, and flowers are the most commercialized, but TRADITIONALLY, it's the EFFORT that counts. Take it from me, I know. (^___^)

HAPPY LOVE MONTH EVERYONE!
